Deferred Action: Timeline Update!
Check it out: timeline update for the Deferred Action Program.
When are things going to get started?
Well, here is the latest from the Department of Homeland Security
- August 1, 2012 is goal for publishing information about program.
- August 15, 2012 deferred action application process will open
How much is this going to cost?
Good question. We don’t have all the details on the costs. This is what we know:
For the Deferred Action application, the cost is not yet known.
If you want a work permit, that will add an additional $380
Plus an $85 biometric fees
So that means that is at least $465+ every 2 years
So that means that is at least $465+ every 2 years
What if I don’t have that kind of money?
Right now, the USDHS says that no money, no status. Fee waivers are not expected to be available at the beginning of the implementation of the new program. This may change, though.
