BKYR: Beyond Know Your Rights. It is no longer enough for immigrants to know that under, U.S. law, they are free from unlawful search and seizure and protected under the Equal Protection Clause. As it stands today, the widespread practice of ICE and local police is to violate the U.S. Constitution. Immigrants, local community groups, and other advocacy organizations are working not only to know their rights but to self-enforce immigrant rights! Our firm has launched a project called "Beyond Know Your Rights" aimed at creating self-enforcement strategies for ICE home-raid and large-scale raids.  We are working with community partners across the state.  Interested in knowing more or being part of the project?  Contact us.
