ILG outlines basic principles of administrative law in important court filing
In 2005, the Supreme Court published a decision in a case called National Cable & Telecommunications Ass’n v. Brand X Internet Service, 545 U.S.967.  The immigration agencies have used the decision in the Brand X case in a manner that is expansive and contrary to the interests of the immigrant communities.  On behalf of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the attorneys at ILG filed an important amicus brief that outlines the basic principles of administrative law and demonstrates that the courts should be more protective of immigrant rights.  The brief is available here.
