Ninth Circuit Adopts Important Legal Principle in Immigration Cases
On behalf of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the ILG legal team prepared an amicus brief in the important case of Navarro-Lopez v. Mukasey.  In the brief, the ILG team argued that the Ninth Circuit should adopt a clarified standard of how criminal convictions are analyzed to determine their immigration consequences.  The Ninth Circuit adopted our reasoning in an en banc opinion.  Read the brief here.
