Elise Zeidman
Elise Zeidman was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. She attended University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Anthropology. While in Tacoma, Elise’s interest in immigration law was sparked by work with an immigrant rights organization providing services at the Northwest Detention Center. Elise returned to Portland after graduating college in 2015 and worked as a housing case manager with a nonprofit serving immigrants and refugees. Elise’s passion for social justice led her to join the ILG team in July of 2017, where she hopes to gain a deeper understanding for the U.S. immigration legal system.
