US District Court rules that Temporary Protected Status should do more than protect

On May 30th, the United States District Court ruled that a grant of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) qualified as “inspection and admission” into the United States for adjustment of immigration status. Currently, to adjust status to a lawful permanent resident, individuals must prove inspection and admission.

The ruling means that those with Temporary Protected Status may fulfill inspection and admission eligibility requirements for lawful permanent residence!
